Slam Poetry: Take 1

If you don't know what slam poetry is (like me about thirty minutes ago) here's a link that explains it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poetry_slam. It's kind of like rap.

So, heres my first attempt at slam poerty:

I’ve only done this,

To prove I’m not redundant

In a society of movers and shakers

Lover and haters.

I’m just a cliché teenager.

Wanting you to see,

That this is me,

In front of you.

So, just do what you have to.

Paint me up,

Paint me down,

So I can fit in with your crowd.

I’m just a cliché teenager.
